Sid Vicious (John Simon Ritchie-Beverly) citizen of London was born in May 10, 1957(passed away at 21 years old in New York, February 2, 1979) was an English musician, known as an icon of the punk culture, as the bass player of the band Sex Pistols, before starting in the band was drummer for Siouxsie & The Banshees. He was also was vocalist of the band The Flowers Of Romance, which he tried as a solo career.
In November of 1977, Sid met Nancy Spungen, for who it became passionate. Nancy was on drugs and she tried the life as prostitute in New York. Nancy already was an addict, Sid joined her and her friends in using heroine.
Sid lived with Nancy in New York, in the Chelsea Hotel. A moment arrived where Sid was convinced that he was the soul of the band and that he a solo career was not very far. The solo career of Sid failed completely and all the money that he had obtained was destined to the vice in heroine.
In the morning of February 2, 1979, at 21 years old, Sid was found dead after an overdose of heroine.
In spite of be a product of marketing, I all dedicate this work to Sid Vicious, who was and always will be a great influence.
